Governor Mills will not oppose President Biden’s grand plan to destroy the lobster fishing industry by bringing offshore wind to Maine.
Asked yesterday if she would oppose Biden’s plan, Governor Mills’ doubled down on offshore wind:
“We have our own offshore wind plan that we are pursuing. It is pretty public. And we are going to continue that.” — Gov. Mills
“The Governor doesn’t give a rip about the lobstermen and lobsterwomen who are going to be put out of work by her and Biden’s offshore wind plans,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “No matter the devastation to families, nothing will stop Janet Mills from forcing her extreme environmental agenda down Mainers’ throats.”
