The city of Portland laid the groundwork this month to allow illegal immigrants to vote, according to a new report.
And Janet Mills continues to lend her tacit support by refusing to condemn the proposal that passed Portland’s Charter Commission.
The refusal to speak out against the measure makes sense if you recall Governor Mills’ support of illegal immigrant voting in Maine when she was the one who first opened the door for this ballot measure in 2009.
“Janet Mills supported illegal immigrant voting before radical D.C. Democrats, like AOC, made it cool elsewhere,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “She filed a legal opinion in support of illegal immigrant voting in Maine as the state’s Attorney General, solidifying her position on the issue forever.”
