Michigan families won’t forget

During tonight’s State of the Union Address, President Biden is set to lay out new nursing home guidelines for states to adopt.

Reminder: Democrats have a disastrous track record when it comes to nursing home policies. Especially Gretchen Whitmer.

Under Whitmer’s watch, the state ignored expert advice and Covid-positive patients were forced into nursing homes, significantly endangering Michigan seniors. A danger that Whitmer’s administration failed to track, underreporting thousands of deaths.

“While Joe Biden tries to tout new nursing home policies, Michigan families are still reeling from the failures of Gretchen Whitmer that costs thousands of Michigan seniors their lives,” said RGA Spokesman Chris Gustafson. “Whitmer’s reckless nursing home blunders and failed cover-up will not be forgotten by Michigan voters.”
