Terry McAuliffe has been rightfully slammed for decrying the role of parents in their child’s education during Tuesday night’s debate: “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”
Last night on local TV, McAuliffe did the unthinkable: he DOUBLED DOWN on his anti-parent position.
“You don’t want parents coming in in every different school district saying this is what should be taught here and this is what should be taught there.”
“Terry McAuliffe’s debate night anti-parent stance was not just a blunder from a flailing candidate,” said RGA Spokesperson Maddie Anderson. “That is what McAuliffe actually believes: parents do not deserve a say in what their own children are taught in schools. The fact that he doubled down shows that McAuliffe has seriously misread the room and he will come to regret saying the quiet part out loud on Election Day.”
