After Major Gaffe, Nevada Dem Gov Candidate Steve Sisolak Remains Silent

It’s been five days since the release of a video that showed Nevada Democrat gubernatorial candidate Steve Sisolak appearing to endorse extreme punishment in Nevada public schools, claiming it is “unfortunate” that teachers do not have the “privilege” to slap students. Sisolak and his campaign have yet to offer any explanation for his comments.

Sisolak owes answers to Nevada’s parents on why he thinks it’s appropriate to allow public school teachers to slap their children. If Sisolak isn’t willing to explain his troubling statements, then he cannot be trusted to lead Nevada as governor.
