Laura Kelly & “Pregnant People”

In a fundraising email reported on by the Daily Caller, Democrat Laura Kelly asked donors to help her protect “pregnant people.” The liberal language comes after fellow Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer was also caught referring to women as “menstruating people” during a recent Democrat state party event.

This isn’t the first time Kelly has opted to appease her liberal base instead of standing up for women. Both this year and last year, Kelly vetoed legislation to protect women’s sports.

“Democrat Laura Kelly uses terms like ‘pregnant people’ and twice vetoed common-sense legislation to protect women’s sports because she prioritizes appeasing her far-left liberal base,” said RGA spokeswoman Joanna Rodriguez. “Kelly’s liberal overtures are out-of-touch with Kansas values and it will cost her re-election in November.”
