The Supreme Court just blocked the Biden administration from enforcing its federal vaccine requirement for American workers, giving Kansas workers a reprieve – but it is no thanks to their Democrat Governor Laura Kelly.
Kelly refused to take a single action to protect Kansas workers. Her feigned disapproval of a vaccine mandate came after nearly two months of silence as Kansans protested the mandate, workers panically contacted lawyers, and as state employers told other officials they expected to lose 30-50% of their workforce if required to comply.
“Democrat Laura Kelly had ample time to weigh Biden’s vaccine mandate and take meaningful action or offer her support to the Republican efforts to fight it, but as usual Kelly said one thing and did nothing,” said RGA spokesperson Joanna Rodriguez. “If it wasn’t for the Attorney General of Kansas and Republican-led states who took on this fight, Kansas workers would still be facing an unprecedented threat to their livelihoods from Kelly’s Democratic party bosses in Washington.”
