Ned Lamont is set to deliver his final state of the state address to Connecticut families today, but after three years in office, he’s failed in nearly every way.
Record inflation, chronic unemployment, and 73,000 lost jobs are the results of Lamont’s economic policies and Andrew Cuomo-inspired Covid lockdowns.
Crime is out of control with homicides and violent crimes skyrocketing, and the state is facing an unprecedented opioid epidemic that is seeing high schoolers consistently overdose on fentanyl.
Countless scandals continue to swirl around Lamont, from his wife’s business dealings with the state, his failure to deliver tests during a Covid surge, and now investigations into staff within state government.
“Ned Lamont’s tenure has been a leadership disaster that has crushed Connecticut’s economy, endangered its citizens, and created an environment for his family to profit off of taxpayers,” said RGA Spokesman Chris Gustafson. “Families simply cannot afford a second term of Lamont’s Cuomo-inspired policies that continue put Connecticut in the top five states people are moving from.”
