KOB4: New MLG Ad is False

Michelle Lujan Grisham and her allies continue to scrape the bottom of the barrel looking for low-blow attacks against Mark Ronchetti.

Proof? Well they are running an attack ad using the same claims used against Ronchetti during his 2020 Senate run that were already proven false by KOB4 at the time.

The new ad from the Democratic Governors Association claims that “Ronchetti proposed ending the Affordable Care Act, which would roll back protections for preexisting conditions.”

However, as KOB4 said in 2020 during a fact check of the unfair attacks against Ronchetti, Republicans support repealing Obamacare while “leaving protections for pre-existing conditions in place.”

“Just like Michelle Lujan Grisham’s ad saying that Mark Ronchetti wants to ‘defund the police,’ this is another blatant lie by Democrats because they recognize they are on the verge of losing this governor’s race,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “Michelle Lujan Grisham has no accomplishments to tout which is why we see negative and false advertising from her and her allies at the Democratic Governors Association.”
