You probably saw Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s campaign ad that boasts that a NM woman was able to become a nurse because of an opportunity scholarship, but according to KOAT the entire ad is a MASSIVE lie.
The woman began nursing school two years before Lujan Grisham became Governor. She doesn’t work at a hospital, like the one featured in the ad. The time she spent in nursing school was not “completely free.”
What’s worse? The legislation Governor Lujan Grisham’s ad promotes only went into effect 4 days ago.
“Michelle Lujan Grisham’s accomplishments could not stand on their own two feet, so she felt the need to lie in one of her opening campaign ads,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “Now that KOAT exposed Governor Lujan Grisham’s tall tale she must apologize directly to New Mexicans for her deceitful campaign tactics.”
