ICYMI, on the two year anniversary of the start of the Kenosha riots, Governor Tony Evers had some inspiring words for the victims of the violence: “It’s a dead issue.”
Something tells me the hundreds of business owners who had their livelihoods damaged and destroyed would beg to differ. Not to mention the families of those killed in the chaos.
“Deflecting blame and refusing to take an ounce of responsibility is Governor Tony Evers’ go-to strategy,” said RGA Spokeswoman Maddie Anderson. “The violence and destruction that occurred two years ago under Evers’ watch is certainly not a ‘dead issue’ to Kenosha residents still struggling to rebuild. Evers must apologize for his heartless words and take a cue from Tim Michels by actually addressing the issue.”
