Twenty-four Republican governors have publicly condemned Biden’s plan, and many are actively working with their state’s Attorney General to fight for businesses and workers. The Kansas Chamber of Commerce is clear that Biden’s mandate would be a detriment to Kansans, and despite Kelly’s silence, Republican leaders in Kansas and already preparing to fight back.
“This is what Kansas voters will remember next November: When the leader of Democrat Laura Kelly’s party goes too far, she stays silent,” said RGA spokesperson Joanna Rodriguez. “Biden’s new mandate is an encroachment on Kansas autonomy and it will risk livelihoods and job growth across the state. Kansans deserve a straight answer about whether Kelly plans to enforce this mandate, and her silence in the face of Democrats’ federal overreach won’t be forgotten.”
