Katie Hobbs gives herself whiplash — again.

Katie Hobbs just can’t seem to figure out what she believes about border security — this time flip-flopping on her position on Governor Ducey’s border strike force.

2018 KATIE HOBBS: Asked if she supported Governor Ducey using state funds for his Border Strike Force, Hobbs said, “ The border is a federal issue […] I think we have other priorities in our state that we should be directing our resources to.”

2022 KATIE HOBBS: Hobbs told 12 News, “I think the governor created the Border Strike Task Force that really in reality is a drug interdiction unit so continuing to provide the support so that they’re able to do that, to carry out that job.”

Remember, this isn’t the first time Hobbs flip-flopped on border security policy — she switched positions on Title 42 after polling revealed it was Biden’s most unpopular policy to date.

“Katie Hobbs’ is a political opportunist who will say anything it takes to win an election,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “Voters don’t know where Hobbs really stands on border security policy, but they do know they can’t trust anything she says.”
