Katie Hobbs is still hiding from voters, but that is not stopping her from promising them everything under the sun in her carefully polished campaign ads.

This time Hobbs claims in a new ad that she will lower taxes for Arizona families.

The problem? Hobbs voted against tax cuts at least 14 times while in the state legislature.

Take a look at all the times Hobbs voted against tax cuts:

  • 2011 Individual Income Tax Cut
  • 2011 Corporate Income Tax Cut
  • 2012 Capital Gains Tax Cut
  • 2012 Business Tax Cuts 2
  • 2015 Budget – Business Tax Exemption
  • 2015 Inflation Tax
  • 2015 Church Property Tax Exemption
  • 2016 Budget – Unemployment Insurance Premiums
  • 2017 Budget – Business Taxes
  • 2016 Property Tax Breaks
  • 2018 Budget – Income Tax
  • 2018 Capital Gains Tax
  • 2018 Military Pension Exemption
  • 2019 Budget – Military Exemption
  • Gov. Ducey’s Flat Tax

“Katie Hobbs might talk the talk, but she doesn’t walk the walk when it comes to tax cuts,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “Hobbs is a tax and spend liberal, and Arizona families will be forced to tighten their purse strings even more if she is allowed to become governor.”
