Inflation Rises Again: Joe Biden and Democrat Governors Are To Blame

WASHINGTON, D.C. – According to data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, inflation now nears a 40-year high. The year-over-year increase of 6.8% marks, “the largest 12-month increase since the period ending June 1982.”

CPI increased 6.8% since last year, surpassing the 6.2% rise in prices last month:

  • The gasoline index is up 58.1%;
  • The food index is up 6.1%;
  • The energy index is up 33.3%;
  • Used cars and trucks is up 31.4%;
  • Utility (piped) gas is up 25.1%.

What is Joe Biden, Washington Democrats, and Democrat governors’ response? Press on with supporting reckless federal spending and their job-killing energy policies. Democrats don’t believe they need to course correct before these problems get any worse.

With the threat of widespread blackouts this winter, Democrat governors only make matters worse canceling pipelines and hiking up energy prices. With the cost of energy up 33.3%, Americans in Democrat-led states are offered no relief. Meanwhile, Republican governors are putting Americans’ hard-earned money back in their pockets by cutting taxes and defending their state economies.
