Remember when Katie Hobbs said it was “ridiculous” that border security is an issue in the race for governor? Well, she is still reinforcing that message.
When asked about her plans to secure the border over the weekend, Hobbs said she would not accept the responsibility of securing the border and that it is up to Washington to solve the problem.
“In her typical word salad fashion, Katie Hobbs admits she won’t work to secure the border but would leave the job up to the likes of Joe Biden and AOC to solve the problem,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “Washington Democrats helped create the border crisis fueling the drug addiction, crime, and human trafficking epidemic in Arizona. Families can’t trust Hobbs in the governor’s office if she will allow Biden to continue to leave the border unsecured and as dangerous as ever.”
