New Mexico Democrat gubernatorial nominee Michelle Lujan Grisham continues to be “dogged” by recent reports that she made a fortune off her firm that ripped off sick patients and taxpayers, and then failed to properly disclose that income.
During the primary, Lujan Grisham’s Democrat rivals argued that she “robbed” New Mexicans and used her “political influence to help [her] company.”
Now, according to political experts in a new Politico report, the scrutiny of unanswered questions surrounding Lujan Grisham’s political insider dealings on health care is likely only to accelerate in the general election, making health care a “riskier…campaign issue for Lujan Grisham.”
Lujan Grisham sought to base her campaign on health care, but her exploitation of sick patients shows she can’t be trusted to look out for the public health. New Mexicans deserve better.
Politico reports:
“But as Democrats around the country aim to target Republicans over Obamacare repeal and spiking premiums that they blame on GOP moves to undermine the 2010 health law, New Mexico GOP operatives and political experts say health care could be riskier as a campaign issue for Lujan Grisham as she faces Pearce in the general election.”
