Does Gretchen Whitmer Support Rashida Tlaib’s Efforts to Abolish the Police?

Last night Michigan congresswoman Rashida Tlaib called for the abolishment of police and the end of incarceration, while calling every police officer in America racist.

Does Gretchen Whitmer support these radical ideas from her home state’s congresswoman? Last year Whitmer herself has said she supports the ‘spirit’ of defunding the police, and has waffled on whether she support abolishing the federal department which protects our borders.

Michiganders deserve to know where Whitmer stands, and if she will disavow Tlaib’s dangerous rhetoric.
