WASHINGTON, D.C. – Republican Governors Association Chairman Bobby Jindal and Republican Governors Association Vice Chairman Scott Walker released the following statement regarding today’s Virginia gubernatorial debate:
“Virginians want a governor they can trust and who is committed to the Commonwealth. Ken Cuccinelli effectively demonstrated in today’s debate that he is the only candidate for governor who fits that description. Ken has devoted his public life to making sure Virginia is a great place to raise a family and start a business. In contrast, Terry McAuliffe has devoted his entire career as a Democratic Party hack who consistently puts politics first. Ken will be a governor for all Virginians. The Republican Governors Association congratulates Ken Cuccinelli on his convincing win in today’s debate.”
