Gov MLG causes Dem state senator to leave party

New Mexico State Senator Jacob Candelaria announced today he is leaving the Democratic party and that Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham is to blame.

Candelaria cited “many of the unconstitutional acts of this governor” as a reason he jumped ship.

Dining on taxpayer-funded wagyu beef. Sexually assaulting a staffer. Illegally spending pandemic funds. That ought to be enough for any reasonable Dem to abandon the party.

“Senator Candelaria saw the same thing New Mexicans are beginning to recognize — that Michelle Lujan Grisham always thinks she is above the law,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “Senator Candelaria’s wise decision is just the beginning of what is going to be a long campaign season for Governor Lujan Grisham as voters begin to tune into her failed record.”
