In case you missed it Friday afternoon, Democrat Gov. Laura Kelly announced she has vetoed a tax cuts proposal that would have saved Kansas individuals and businesses $284 million over three years. This is the third time Kelly has subjected Kansans to paying higher taxes by rejecting new tax cut measures.
“Just in case there was any doubt how Democrat Laura Kelly views taxpayer dollars, her THIRD veto of tax cuts to benefit individuals and businesses should make it perfectly clear,” said RGA spokesperson Joanna Rodriguez. “After an incredibly trying year for working families and small businesses, Kelly is still refusing to let taxpayers keep more of their own money. Voters will remember this next year when they hold Kelly accountable.”
