The numbers are in, and Republican Governor Doug Ducey has delivered for the people of Arizona -following through on his promise to bring jobs back to his state and raise wages.
As a result of Ducey’s pro-growth economic policies, Arizona’s unemployment rate has fallen to the lowest level in nearly a decade.
The Arizona Daily Sun explains, “private sector employers said they added 10,300 new workers between August and September. Overall private employment is up by 33,700 from the same time a year earlier.”
With more job opportunities, wages are rising as well.
“…wages in Arizona are up by 5.2 percent in the past year, compared to just 2.9 percent nationally.”
Arizona has added 140,000 new private sector jobs since Doug Ducey became Governor in 2015.
