GOP Governor Chris Sununu’s Job Approval Rating Surges In New Hampshire

GOP Governor Chris Sununu continues to earn sky-high marks for his leadership in New Hampshire. A new poll out today show’s Governor Sununu’s approval rating surging to 63% with nearly 7 months to go until Election Day. The survey shows strong signs of support for Governor Sununu across the political spectrum from Republican, Democrat and Independent voters. As Governor Sununu continues to provide determined leadership, working to spur job growth, tackle the opioid crisis, and improve education, New Hampshire voters continue to overwhelmingly approve of his job performance.

“A poll completed jointly by Republican-leaning and Democratic-leaning research firms show Gov. Chris Sununu with high marks among New Hampshire voters…

The poll was conducted March 8-15 by the Democratic pollster Greenberg Quinlan Rosner and the Republican firm Target Point Consulting.

They polled 326 likely Republican primary voters and 346 likely Democratic primary voters – a total of 600 likely voters – from March 8-15.

The margins of error for the poll are plus or minus 5.3 percentage points for questions answered only by Democrats, 5.4 percentage points for questions answered only by Republicans and 4 percent for questions answered by all likely voters.

Sununu has a job approval rating of 63 percent, with 22 percent disapproving. GOP voters approve of Sununu’s performance 85 percent to 6 percent, while even Democrats are split, with 41 percent approving and 43 percent disapproving.”
