Get Michigan Working Again Announces Digital Ads and Coasters Campaign Against Gretchen Whitmer

Get Michigan Working Again PAC, an affiliate of Republican Governors Association, today announced a grassroots campaign, complete with a four-figure digital buy and coasters, to hold Gov. Gretchen Whitmer accountable for her hypocrisy and stifling restrictions on Michigan restaurants and bars. Her crippling and unconstitutional regulations caused thousands of Michigan small businesses to lose critical revenue and caused many to shut down permanently. Now patrons and small business owners will be able to express their disgust with the governor when having a few drinks.

• The digital ads will be running on Facebook this week to targeted to voters across the state.

• The coasters will be available at restaurants across the Great Lakes State. They contain a QR code leading patrons to FireTheDamnGovernor.com. More restaurant and bar owners across the state will be able to request coasters for their establishment through this website.

Accompanied with the coasters, the restaurant owners sent a letter to fellow Michigan small business owners. You can read the full letter here:

Small businesses, like yours, are the backbone of Michigan’s economy and Whitmer’s policies have pushed them to the brink of destruction. Help us remove her from office and elect a new governor who has Michigan’s best interests at heart.”

“A fellow restaurant owner was even arrested and thrown in jail for refusing to close down her business and comply with Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s massive abuse of power. It is abhorrent that Attorney General Nessel’s office would arrest this restaurant owner, but refuses to investigate the thousands of COVID-19 nursing home deaths in Michigan that may have been caused by the Governor’s policies. From the nursing home scandal and buying the silence of officials to stifling the economy, it is clear that Governor Whitmer cannot be trusted to lead our great state.”
