Get Michigan Working Again Announces Digital Ad Campaign

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Get Michigan Working Again, an affiliate of the Republican Governors Association, announced a new digital ad campaign taking on Gretchen Whitmer.

The campaign will remind Michiganders of Gretchen Whitmer’s “rules for thee, not for me” approach to governing throughout the pandemic. From her husband’s weekend on the boat, her southern getaway to Florida, or most recently violating her own social distancing rules for a pizza party, Whitmer has shown she’s unwilling to make the same sacrifices others have been asked to make.

“Gretchen Whitmer has shown zero respect for Michiganders throughout the pandemic, constantly living by her own set of rules while they were forced into lockdowns,” said RGA Spokesperson Chris Gustafson. “People are sick of Whitmer’s and her administration’s intrepid hypocrisy and will vote to fire the damn governor come next November.”
