Does Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams Support Radical Abolish ICE Movement? She Owes Voters Answers

After Atlanta’s Democrat leaders announced last week that they will no longer honor their agreement with federal immigration authorities to hold detainees, far-left Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams “applauded” their decision, making it clear that she would put radical politics ahead of protecting Georgia families. But while Abrams was quick to support the Atlanta mayor’s left-wing attempts to undermine law enforcement officials, she still hasn’t come clean about where she stands on the radical Abolish ICE movement.

So far, Democrat gubernatorial nominees in Arizona, Florida, and Michigan have all come out in favor of abolishing ICE as the issue becomes a litmus test for Democrats in key races across the country. Abrams has made no secret of her disdain for law enforcement officials when it comes to immigration issues, repeatedly attacking ICE on the campaign trail in her stump speeches. Abrams even claimed that local law enforcement officials are “terrorizing families,” by simply doing their jobs and working with federal immigration authorities at an event earlier this year.

But while Abrams has made it clear that she sees radical far-left politics as more important than public safety, she still refuses to explicitly tell the people of Georgia whether she supports the Abolish ICE movement. As a candidate for the state’s highest office, she owes voters a direct answer: Does she support abolishing ICE and putting the people of her state’s safety at risk?
