Maryland candidate for governor Doug Gansler pulled a Terry McAuliffe last night by taking the side of teachers’ unions over Maryland parents.
Gansler said it’s “not right” for parents to want their children back in the classroom and off of Zoom school.
“Maryland Democrats are already leaning into the failed Terry McAuliffe playbook of siding with teachers’ unions over parents,” said RGA Spokeswoman Maddie Anderson. “Many kids are still struggling from learning loss after the last year and a half of Zoom school, but that’s exactly where Gansler wants to keep them. Do the other Maryland gubernatorial candidates agree that it’s ‘not right’ for parents to want their kids back in the classroom?”
