Florida Dems’ Brutal Gov Primary Takes the Debate Stage Tonight

The Florida Democrats’ primary for governor has been ugly and tonight it’s taking the debate stage on several markets across the state.

Charlie Crist has done everything he can to pretend Nikki Fried doesn’t exist – from skipping over her in his first TV ad to telling a reporter asking him about Fried’s criticism, “I don’t respond to her.”

On the other hand, you have Fried throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks with Democrat primary voters. This week she went as far as saying she’d consider reparations for descendants of slavery if elected – 157 years after slavery ended in Florida.

If you’re reporting on tonight’s debate, consider the following statement from RGA spokesperson Joanna Rodriguez: “It doesn’t really make much difference whether Democrats nominate Pelosi puppet Charlie Crist or desperate extremist Nikki Fried to oppose Governor Ron DeSantis because Floridians are fired up and ready to keep him in the Governor’s office for four more years. Governor DeSantis has done a tremendous job growing Florida’s economy, protecting parents’ rights to be involved in their child’s education, and ensuring the safety of every Floridian – making the Sunshine State one of the best places to live, work, and raise a family. “
