Florida Dem Gov Candidate Gwen Graham Caught Misleading Voters About Her Political Ambitions

Florida Democrat gubernatorial candidate Gwen Graham, who’s totally “not boring,” is working hard to convince voters that she’s not the typical politician she appears to be.

In a recent Politico Magazine profile, Graham claimed that she never “considered running for office” until late 2012, even concocting a whole story about what convinced her to enter the fray.

But, despite this new camera-ready tall tale, as far back as 2003, Graham was touting that “elected office could be in her future.” In 2004, Graham was even openly “considering running” for her father’s Senate seat.

Graham wants to present herself as above politics, but her misleading claims just prove the point that she’s a typical politician whose rhetoric doesn’t match her record. Floridians deserve better.

Sun Sentinel Reports:

“During the 2000 campaign, Graham and Kerry were considered possible running mates for Al Gore, the Democratic nominee. Graham announced in November that he would not seek re-election to the Senate, triggering questions about his political future, including speculation about a potential No. 2 spot on this year’s Democratic ticket.

Graham’s daughter Gwen is considering running for his Senate seat.”
