Desperate for momentum with polls showing Connecticut’s gubernatorial race moving to a dead heat, Democrat Ned Lamont is trying to mislead voters about his business record.
While speaking to supporters this weekend, Lamont claimed to be “the guy who hires people.” But Lamont did not mention the fact that he laid off two thirds of his own company’s workforce while still paying himself over $500,000.
Lamont claims to be a job creator, but the truth is that he fired dozens of his employees so that he could keep paying himself a hefty salary. Lamont’s deliberate scheme to mislead shows he can’t be trusted to lead Connecticut as governor.

.@KellyAyotte promised to protect the New Hampshire Advantage as Governor.
And she is delivering!
New Hampshire is the BEST state in the nation for economic opportunity!
This didn't happen by accident — it's a result of lower taxes and making it easier, NOT harder, to do business in our state. https://t.co/Okxtad4BG0
