Democrat gubernatorial candidate Jared Polis is once again demonstrating that he wants to move Colorado to the far-left.
While refusing to detail specifics, Polis has repeatedly suggested he will raise taxes and fees to pay for his big government agenda, including on education.
But at an event last week, Colorado Democrat Governor John Hickenlooper rejected Polis’ far-left approach, arguing that policymakers need to demonstrate increased education spending will get results before increasing taxes.
As Polis discards Hickenlooper’s “bigger tent” strategy, his chances of winning critical moderate voters keeps diminishing.
