Erratic Florida Dem Gov Candidate Philip Levine Increases His Outreach To….Washington Insiders?

Florida Democrat gubernatorial Philip Levine’s erratic campaign keeps getting more bizarre.

Levine often touts on the campaign trail that he’s not focused on federal issues. Levine has even named his political committee, All About Florida, to reinforce this point.

But now, Levine is running ads focused on federal politics, and, oddly enough, he’s chosen to run them on CNN in Washington D.C.

Levine’s strategy of appealing to Washington DC insiders before Floridians is another example of his erratic decision making, as well as his “do as I say not as I do” mentality.

Florida Politics Reports:

“With new ads running in both Florida and the nation’s capital, Miami Beach Mayor and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Philip Levine is blasting House Speaker Richard Corcoran and President Donald Trump for their tough stances on immigration.

Starting this week, the 30-second spot, called ‘Intolerance,’ is serving as a direct response to Corcoran’s ‘hateful and race-baiting ad’ targeting sanctuary cities that continues to get airtime throughout the state, says Christian Ulvert, a special adviser to Levine’s campaign for governor.

In the ads, Levine also calls out Trump: ‘It’s bad enough that we hear this from a president who bullies for a living.”
