Empty Promises: John Gregg References Non-Existent Jobs Plan, Misleading Hoosier Voters

In a new TV ad launched hastily by Democrat gubernatorial nominee John Gregg, he tries to distance himself from his long record as a wasteful spending, tax-loving former lobbyist by claiming he has a jobs plan to help Indiana families.

“Now, Gregg offers a job and tax plan…” (John Gregg: Discipline TV Ad, YouTube, 6/6/2016)

But there’s one big problem with that claim in his new TV ad. He doesn’t have a jobs plan.

On Gregg’s own campaign website, not only can a plan not be found, it asks visitors to “check back” at another time to find out what his job plan is.

“As this campaign continues, check back here for John’s detailed economic plan which will be unveiled soon.” (John Gregg Campaign Website, accessed 6/7/2016)

With only five months to go until Election Day, its clear that John Gregg actually has no jobs plan for his campaign. Gregg is running an empty-promise effort to be governor by often refusing to comment or flip-flopping on issues most important to Hoosiers. Indiana expects more of its leaders, but Gregg is content with misleading voters and hoping they won’t notice.

In response, the RGA today launched www.WhereIsJohnsJobsPlan.com, highlighting his missing jobs plan and ensuring Hoosier voters know the truth about Gregg’s record.
