Democrat Governor John Bel Edwards continues to drag Louisiana down with his anti-business agenda and his tax-and-spend policies.
In a new column for The Advocate, Jeff Sadow blasts Edwards’ failed record on the economy, writing that “his policies over the past three years have produced tax hikes and 40 percent higher state spending. Louisiana has one of the worst economies in the country with almost no net new jobs created.” This comes as Edwards faces growing criticism for his anti-business agenda involving Louisiana’s Industrial Tax Exemption Program, while the state’s business climate ranks 44th in the nation.
John Bel Edwards’ failed leadership has halted economic progress and job creation while weakening small businesses across his state. Louisiana deserves better leadership.
