Dan Malloy’s Approval Rating Drops To Historic Low 24%, Earns Title As Most Unpopular Governor in America

“Gov. Malloy has lost ground on almost every measure.”

From job-killing tax hikes to budget woes to companies leaving the state and sinking fiscal health, Failed Governor Dan Malloy’s inability to effectively govern Connecticut has his approval rating plummeting to an all-time low 24% in a new Quinnipiac poll out today, earning Malloy, the Chairman of the DGA, the title as the most unpopular governor in America.

“These disastrous approval ratings are a direct result of Dan Malloy’s failed leadership and eagerness to drive jobs and business out of his state through job-killing policies, tax hikes and a stubborn unwillingness to listen to those hurting in Connecticut,” said RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson. “As the most unpopular governor in America, a top surrogate for Hillary Clinton’s Presidential campaign and Chairman of the Democratic Governors Association, Malloy will continue to be a major liability to Democrat gubernatorial candidates everywhere over the next five months. Malloy gave up on Connecticut, and now its clear Connecticut voters have given up on him.”
