During tonight’s State of the Union Address, President Biden is set to lay out new nursing home guidelines for states to adopt.

Reminder: Democrats have a disastrous track record when it comes to nursing home policies. Especially Ned Lamont.

Under Lamont’s watch, Connecticut ignored expert advice by mimicking disgraced former governor Andrew Cuomo’s policies and forced Covid-positive patients into nursing homes, significantly endangering seniors.

“While Joe Biden tries to tout new nursing home policies, Connecticut families are still reeling from the failures of Ned Lamont that costs thousands of seniors their lives,” said RGA Spokesman Chris Gustafson. “Lamont’s reckless and deadly nursing home policies that he stole from Andrew Cuomo will not be forgotten by voters in November.”
