The Republican Governors Association launched a new television advertisement and website today highlighting Creigh Deeds’ confusing double-talk about taxes during and after the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce’s September 17th debate.
The ad can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbPZrpPw3Uw and its viral component can be seen at www.DeedsUncut.com.
“Virginians want a governor they can trust and who will keep taxes low,” said RGA communications director Mike Schrimpf. “With this guy, it’s clear neither is possible and our Deeds Uncut campaign reveals that. All you have to do is watch the video to see that Deeds can’t even keep his own word within the same sentence and plans to increase taxes.”
“Creigh Deeds’ double-talk proves that even he knows hiking taxes is a terrible idea in this economy,” Schrimpf continued. “But attempting to mislead the voters is an even worse idea.”
