Colorado Dem Gov John Hickenlooper Warns How Jared Polis’s Tax Hikes Will Drive Taxpayers To Red States

Colorado Democrat Governor John Hickenlooper is once again publicly rebuking the radical far-left direction Democrat gubernatorial nominee Jared Polis is taking his party.

Hickenlooper has a long history of sparring with Polis. Four years ago, Hickenlooper slammed Polis’s energy policies as “radical” and “extreme measures that would drive oil and gas out of Colorado.” While, just a few weeks ago, Hickenlooper attacked Polis’s campaign for having not “gotten off on a good foot.”

Now, Hickenlooper is warning about the damage Jared Polis’s tax hikes would do to the state, arguing at a recent event that massive tax hikes threaten to drive people out of Colorado to lower tax states controlled by Republican governors like “Texas or Florida.”

Even Hickenlooper gets that Polis’s radical tax-hiking agenda will drive jobs out of the state and turn Colorado into another California. Colorado can’t afford to become Jared Polis’s failed far-left experiment.
