Under Bill Walker, Alaska’s Economy Ranks As Worst In The Nation

Governor Bill Walker is now gaining national notoriety for his failed leadership on Alaska’s declining economy.

According to a new U.S. News & World Report analysis, Walker’s economy now ranks dead last in the entire country.

The state’s poor ranking reflects Alaska’s abysmal business climate, repeated multi-billion dollar deficits, and numerous credit downgrades under Walker.

As a consequence of these policy failures, Alaska has the highest unemployment rate in the country. To make matters worse, the state’s population is now declining for the first time in 30 years as Alaskans flee the Walker economy for better opportunities elsewhere.

Alaskans deserve better than Bill Walker’s dismal economy.
