The latest Consumer Price Index from the federal government shows that inflation continues to hammer Connecticut families, with prices soaring 8.3% since last year, and core prices up 0.6% from July alone.
But don’t expect Ned Lamont to care, he’s busy celebrating Joe Biden’s ‘Inflation Reduction Act’, which is expected to have no significant impact on lowering inflation and will increase the federal deficit over the next four years.
Apparently increasing taxes and fees on his constituents wasn’t enough for Lamont.
“Joe Biden’s inflation crisis continues to hammer families in Connecticut and Ned Lamont can’t get enough of it, cheering on trillions in federal spending that fuels the crisis and dumps debt on future generations,” said RGA Spokesman Chris Gustafson. “Despite having one of the worst unemployment rates in the nation and encouraging the inflation fire, Lamont seems to have no remorse as families across the state struggle to put food on the table and fill up their tanks.”
