Biden Goes After American Governors Tougher Than the Taliban

What the nation just watched is unacceptable. President Biden finally returned to Washington after his vacation today and chose to start his remarks by attacking American governors and state governments. Once again, he refused to take questions. And he refused to address a number of the crises facing the federal government:

  • Anywhere from 11-15 thousand American citizens were abandoned in Taliban territory with no assurances they will be evacuated safely.
  • China is using state propaganda outlets to threaten American allies. Our own allies are calling him shameful.
  • Migrant crossings at the Southern border reached a 21-year high last month.
  • Crime, inflation, and consumer prices are on the rise across the country.

“The President of the United States decided to use his podium to talk tough today, but the target of his attack wasn’t the Taliban or cartels along the Southern border or adversaries like China threatening our allies, it was American elected officials he disagrees with politically,” said RGA spokesperson Joanna Rodriguez. “Joe Biden’s choice to spend his only public remarks today attacking state leaders instead of focusing on his responsibilities as Commander-in-Chief is a disgrace to the office and everything he claims to stand for.”
