Even a comedian like Trevor Noah knows that Democrat Andrew Gillum’s tax hiking agenda would jeopardize Florida’s unique way of life.
In his campaign for governor, Gillum has proposed a billion-dollar tax hike and praised California’s high-tax rates as a better model for Florida. Making matter worse, a recent study found that Gillum’s proposed billion-dollar tax hike would only pay for a small portion of his spending plans.
Now, in what was supposed to be a puffball piece for The Daily Show, liberal comedian Trevor Noah has inadvertently exposed the enormous damage Gillum’s tax hikes would do to Florida. In the interview, Noah tells Gillum that low taxes “are what everyone loves about Florida” and the reason “people move here,” forcing an awkward cringe in response from Gillum.
Andrew Gillum just doesn’t get that Florida can’t afford California-level taxes. Floridians can’t let him take the state’s economic progress backward.
