AUDIO: Ben Jealous Once Again Dodges Questions On His Reckless Spending Plans

Maryland Democrat candidate for governor Ben Jealous has already been called out for refusing to say how much his Bernie Sanders backed, state-run healthcare system would cost taxpayers. Now, Jealous has been caught once again refusing to detail how much his “free” college plan would cost – this time, on tape.

Asked by a constituent how much his “free” college plan would cost Maryland taxpayers, a quivering Jealous replied that, “the exact cost will be, uh, tallied up by the, the legislative analysts when I’m governor. Um, you know, there’s a reason why the government has those things. It’s expensive to figure all that out.”

Ben Jealous knows that his “free” college plan is really just a massive tax hike Maryland can’t afford – that’s why Jealous is refusing to answer the question. The Washington Post has already called it “irresponsible,” “reckless” and a “pie-in-the-sky” proposal.

Meanwhile, Jealous’ primary opponents – including Kevin Kamenetz – refuse to comment on Jealous’ wild spending proposals. Do they too share Ben Jealous’ radical ideas?

Maryland voters deserve answers from Jealous and Kamenetz.
