WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Comeback Committee, a related organization of the Republican Governors Association, released a new television advertisement today in the Hawaii governor’s race, which details Democrat David Ige’s failed leadership as a longtime member of Hawaii’s political system.

“David Ige has been entrenched in Hawaii’s political system for nearly 30 years, and it’s been nothing but bad news for the state,” said spokesperson Stacy Day. “Under his leadership, Hawaii has had failing schools, a growing homelessness population, more taxes, more debt and tougher times for the middle class. Hawaii deserves better from its governor than David Ige and his record of failed leadership.”
