WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Comeback Committee, a related organization of the Republican Governors Association, released a new television advertisement today in the Hawaii governor’s race, which details Democrat David Ige’s responsibility for Hawaii’s failed health insurance exchange.

“Democrat David Ige was in on the ground floor of Hawaii’s health insurance exchange, a debacle by any measure,” said spokesperson Stacy Day. “Ige followed Governor Abercrombie’s lead, but hundreds of millions of dollars later, the exchange was found to be deeply flawed, deemed unsustainable and classified as the worst in the country. Ige owns this failure. Hawaii families deserve better.”
