The Albuquerque Journal has endorsed Republican Steve Pearce for New Mexico governor, praising his “fiscally responsible” leadership.
In an editorial, The Albuquerque Journal notes “it’s hard to imagine a bigger America success story than Steve Pearce…a self-made millionaire” who grew up in dire poverty. Because of his personal experience, Pearce “knows how to create jobs” and “opposes tax increases” on hard-working New Mexicans.
The Albuquerque Journal’s endorsement and the endorsement of prominent Democrat leaders shows that Pearce’s impressive record and unifying vision is attracting support from across the political spectrum.
