MORE? Additional Staffers Accuse J.B. Pritzker Campaign of Discrimination and Harassment

On Wednesday, J.B. Pritzker’s campaign was rocked by a bombshell federal lawsuit from ten Democrat campaign staffers, alleging that the campaign has engaged in “discrimination” and “racism” against black and Latino campaign staffers.  The lawsuit specifically alleges that Pritzker’s campaign packs “black and Latino campaign workers…in unsafe working conditions, and are denied benefits and advancement opportunities available to their white colleagues.”

Now, additional staffers not named in the lawsuit have emerged to corroborate these troubling allegations. NBC Chicago reports that they “spoke to several former staffers who also say they experienced racism and harassment as well,” and even brought these concerns directly to J.B. Pritzker and his running mate months ago.

The allegations made in the published complaint mirror the same treatment that I faced,” one former staffer told NBC Chicago.

Another told NBC Chicago that they were subject to “unfair treatment, hostile and oppressive behavior” from a supervisor and that left that staffer “rebuffed, ignored and ultimately dismissed, fired for voicing my concerns over J.B.’s discriminatory practices.”

If these allegations are true, it’s further proof that J.B. Pritzker is not fit to be governor of Illinois.
