AD FACT CHECK: Charlie Crist is Why Inflation Continues to Rise

Charlie Crist is out with a new ad today opining on the rising costs of living, but what the ad doesn’t mention is that if you’re “fed up” or “ticked off” about the rising prices, Charlie’s own actions in Washington are to blame. And just over a month ago, Charlie said there is no recession!

Economists agree Washington Democrats’ $1.9 trillion spending bill last year drove inflation to the 40-year high we saw earlier this year. Then this summer, they poured gasoline on an already raging fire with another $740 billion spending bill. Charlie Crist voted for and continues to stand by both.

“Just over a month ago, Charlie Crist went on TV and told Floridians there was no recession and dismissed concerns about rising prices,” said RGA spokesperson Joanna Rodriguez. “And from the moment Biden was sworn in, Crist has stood in lockstep with him on his tax and spending spree, which has caused the pain and suffering Floridians are fed up and ticked off with. Now Charlie Crist is lying because he knows Floridians want a governor who will stand up to Washington and fight to protect Florida from Biden’s reckless policies.”
