New RGA Web Video: “Mary Burke: Pants On Fire”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released a new web video today highlighting Wisconsin Democrat gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke’s attempts to dupe voters by spewing “Pants on Fire” mistruths and outright lies on the campaign trail.

Since announcing her candidacy for governor, Burke has accumulated three “Pants on Fire” ratings for “false” and “ridiculous” statements about the state of Wisconsin’s economy and Governor Walker’s record. The video brings her habits of misinformation into clear focus.

“From the start of her campaign, it’s been obvious that Mary Burke has some serious trouble with the truth,” said RGA Communications Director Gail Gitcho. “With no record of success of her own to run on, Burke wasted no time outwardly and repeatedly distorting Governor Walker’s record of real reform in Wisconsin.
