RGA Statement On Vincent Sheheen’s Questionable Ties

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Republican Governors Association Communications Director Gail Gitcho issued the following statement regarding South Carolina State Senator Vincent Sheheen’s questionable ties and support for charged computer hacker Christopher Lykes:

“Vincent Sheheen has some serious questions to answer regarding his relationship with the charged hacker who was arrested for compromising South Carolinians’ private information. It is appalling Sheheen has refused to accept responsibility for promoting this individual within state government. Governor Haley has been working hard to address, fix, and reverse the problem while Sheheen has made it clear he would rather shift blame and stay mum on his shady association.”
